Shahid Afridi Ruled out of PSL 2021 Due to Lower-Back Injury
The rest of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 6) will start in a few days. Earlier, a big push was made at Multan Sultans camp. Shahid Afridi ruled out of PSL 2021 due to lower-back injury. Afridi felt lower back pain while training in Karachi. The Pakistan superstar will be rested on the advice of a doctor because of that pain.
The Multan Sultans franchise wrote on social media, “We are saddened to announce that Shahid Afridi will miss the rest of the PSL 2021 an integral part of our superstar, icon and franchise due to his lower back injury.” The Sultan’s family will miss you (Afridi) and we pray for your speedy recovery. ‘

On the issue, Shahid Afridi wrote on his Twitter, ‘I feel lower back pain while training to play for the rest of the PSL and I have to seek medical attention. Unfortunately I have been asked to rest and I will not be able to be part of my party Multan Sultans. My heart was broken because I was practicing and training very hard. ‘
