Sarfaraz Ahmed Travel to Abu Dhabi on New Visa for PSL 2021
Eleven Pakistani cricketers, including Sarfaraz Ahmed, were denied boarding a flight to the United Arab Emirates on Sunday. They were sent back from the airport mainly due to visa defects. However, five players from the PSL team were allowed to leave. However, on Monday, Sarfaraz Ahmed cut the visa complication and is set to travel to Abu Dhabi on a new visa to participate in the PSL 2021 remaining matches.
According to Pakistani media, Sarfaraz is going there on a newly obtained visa from the United Arab Emirates. Of the 13 players in Pakistan, six, including Sarfaraz, got visas to go to Abu Dhabi. Amir Yameen, Asif Afridi and Mohammad Imran are among the seven people who did not get visas.
Incidentally, 14 matches were played before the PSL was suspended. The rest of the matches of the tournament are scheduled to start from June 5. Many cricketers and support staff have already reached the Middle Eastern country.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is facing problems even before the start of the Pakistan Super League (PCL). The rest of the tournament, which was postponed at home in Covid Abe, is being held in the United Arab Emirates. The PCB has not yet been able to send all the cricketers to the Middle Eastern country due to one complication after another.
