Supplementary and Replacement Players Announced for PSL 9

All the Pakistan Super League franchises have announced the list of supplementary and replacement players for the HBL PSL season 9 2024.

PSL franchises have picked two more players in the supplementary category and have also chosen stand-ins for players who will miss PSL 9 replacement draft.

Two new players have been added to Peshawar Zalmi: Luke Wood, an English left-arm seamer, and Sufyan Muqeem, a promising spinner from Pakistan. In the meanwhile, athletes like Laurie Evans, Haider Ali, Johnson Charles, and Bhanuka Rajapaksa have also been chosen.

In the silver category, Peshawar Zalmi chose England’s Gus Atkinson for Noor Ahmed, while Waqar Salam Khel was chosen for Lungi Ngidi.

Khurram Shahzad, a fast bowler, was chosen in the silver category because Arshad Iqbal was only partially available. selected on the spot. Naveen-ul-Haq of Afghanistan will be somewhat available; the squad has the right to choose.

While Dean Lawrence will be partially available for the squad and Tom Curran of Islamabad United will also be partially available where the team has decided to select him.

Tim Seifert of New Zealand will be available to the Karachi Kings following the New Zealand series. The Karachi Kings named Zahid Mahmood as a partial replacement for Kieron Pollard.

Sri Lankan batsman Bhanuka Rajapakse and English middle-order batsman Lewis de Ploy were selected by the Karachi Kings. Wanendu Hasringa has been brought in by Quetta Gladiators to replace Bismillah Khan for the Sri Lanka series; he will be eligible to play in part. English batsman Laurie Evans has joined the Quetta Gladiators team.
