PSL 2025 and IPL 2025 are Likely To be Played at the Same Time
During the IPL (Indian Premier League), the international window remains closed. IPL has never conflicted with a T20 league, despite the fact that the international schedule has previously clashed. In 2025, the Indian Premier League – IPL and Pakistan Super League – PSL will be played at the same time.
The window for Pakistan Super League is between January-February. However, this will not occur until 2025. Because the Champions Trophy would be staged in Pakistan at that time. That means the Pakistan cricket board will have to postpone the PSL for a few months. While Indian Premier league window for 2025 is between March-May which means both t20 leagues will be held at the same time.
The Pakistan Cricket Board will finally host an ICC tournament in Pakistan after nearly three decades of waiting. Pakistan has not hosted another ICC event since jointly hosting the 1996 World Cup with Sri Lanka. The Champions Trophy will be played, hence the PSL window will be from March to May instead of January and February. Apparently, they are coerced.
Meanwhile, IPL is held in April-May. So PSL and PSL can conflict. The FTP announced by the ICC today (2023-2027) does not include international matches every April and May.
