Naseem Shah Dropped Out of PSL 2021 For Breaking Protocols
Quetta Gladiators fast bowler Naseem Shah dropped out from the rest of the PSL 2021 in Abu Dhabi. The young fast bowler Naseen Shah broke protocol and dropped out of PSL 6. Cricketers traveling from Karachi and Lahore to Abu Dhabi to play in the rest of the PSL were asked to submit a report with a negative result of the Corona Test. However, this report cannot be more than 48 hours before entering the hotel.
The report given by Naseem Shah was dated 17 May. He was immediately kept in isolation on a different floor from the hotel where the cricketers were staying. On the advice of a three-member independent medical advisory panel of the PSL, Naseem Shah was removed from isolation and it was decided not to take him to Abu Dhabi.
PSL chief and commercial director Babar Hamid said, “The PCB is not proud of removing the young fast bowler from this marquee event. However, if we do not take into account the violation of this protocol, we will put the entire tournament in danger.
