1. Lahore Qalandars – 18 Sixes
On February 26, Lahore Qalandars opener Fakhar Zaman hammered Peshawar Zalmi bowlers for 10 sixes at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
With 10 sixes in his 96-run innings, Zaman beat Shadab Khan’s Pakistan Super League (PSL) record for most sixes by a hitter.
Cricket fans have witnessed a rain of sixes during the match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators.
Islamabad United smashed 18 sixes in their encounter against Quetta Gladiators, displaying an astounding show of power hitting.
2. Islamabad United – 18 Sixes
Despite a rocky start by Islamabad United, in which they lost three wickets for 43 runs after the powerplay, Azam Khan had an excellent performance, hitting 97 runs off 42 balls, including eight sixes.
He was ably assisted by Asif Ali, who contributed 42 more runs to the total with four sixes, bringing his contribution to six.
Faheem Ashraf and Rahmanullah Gurbaz also added to the team’s outstanding six-hitting performance by each hitting a six.
Moreover, Colin Munro hit four sixes on his route to 38 runs at the outset. Islamabad United set a formidable target of 220 runs for Quetta Gladiators to chase after breaking their record for the most sixes struck by a team in an inning.
3. Multan Sultans – 17 Sixes
The six-hitting saga continued in Rawalpindi on March 11, 2023, when Quetta Gladiators faced off against Multan Sultans.
The Sultans, determined to etch their name in PSL history, flexed their batting muscles and launched an astounding 17 sixes, adding another chapter to the tournament’s six-hitting lore.

Just a day prior, on March 10, 2023, Peshawar Zalmi engaged in a high-octane clash with Multan Sultans at Rawalpindi.
The Sultans, once again proving their mettle, matched their record by depositing 17 deliveries into the stands, showcasing their prowess in the art of power-hitting.
5. Islamabad United – 16 Sixes
Taking a trip down memory lane, we revisit a clash between Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United on March 9, 2019.
Despite the earlier records set in 2023, this match deserves a mention for the explosive display of six-hitting by Islamabad United, who smashed 16 sixes in a single innings.
6. Quetta Gladiators – 16 Sixes
Returning to the 2023 season, Quetta Gladiators once again left an indelible mark in Rawalpindi on March 11, 2023.
The Gladiators, not content with their earlier record, flexed their muscles once more, matching Multan Sultans with a formidable tally of 17 sixes.
