Moeen Ali Will Play in BPL Instead of PSL 2022
South Africa’s Faf du Plessis, West Indies hard hitter Sunil Narine and English all-rounder Moeen Ali have decided to play in the BPL instead of playing in the PSL 2022. All three will play for two-time BPL champions Comilla Victorians.
Nafisa Kamal, owner and managing director of Comilla Victorians, had earlier said that the three would be signed before the upcoming BPL. None of the three of them have registered to play in the seventh edition of the PSL to play in the BPL, so their names did not come up for auction which was held last Sunday.
This year’s BPL will start from January 20. Will last 1 month. And PSL 7 will start at about the same time It is learned that PSL will be held on Pakistani soil from January 16. As a result, the two big domestic competitions almost clashed.
However, the BPL authorities do not have much of a headache. Because their hope is that the players will choose BPL. Another big reason may be that PSL will be in Pakistan. And because of security concerns, many do not want to play there.
