England Bowler Chris Woakes Dropped From the First Test Against New Zealand 2022

England will play a Test series against New Zealand at home in early June 2022. But before that series, the bad news was in the England camp. Chris Woakes has been Dropped From the First Test Against New Zealand 2022 due to injury.

He suffered a shoulder and knee injury during his last tour of the West Indies. He could not fully recover from that injury. Due to this, he is also missing several matches for Worcestershire in county cricket. This time the match is going to be missed by the national team.

The pace bowling all-rounder is not playing in the first Test against New Zealand. If he is fully fit, he will play in the remaining two Tests of the series. Earlier, a match was also scheduled to be played in county cricket. In addition to Woaks, the English team has a lot of injury problems. Mark Wood, Jorfra Archer, and Oli Stone will not be seen in the entire series.

The first Test between England and New Zealand will start at Lord’s on June 2. The second Test will begin on June 10 at Trent Bridge and the third and final Test of the series on June 23 at Headingley. The Kiwis have already announced their squad for the series.
