5 Bowlers with Best Bowling Figures in the History of PSL

Bowling on a batting surface is typically difficult in T20 leagues such as the PSL. Yet, bowlers who perform well on the day of the match by taking wickets typically find this assignment simple. Pakistan Super League fans have witnessed some of the best and most exceptional bowling figures in PSL. In addition to bowlers, a number of batsmen who bowl on the side are included on the list.

  1. Ravi Bopara – 6/16

The initial season of the PSL was a tremendous success, as it drew numerous international stars. Ravi Bopara’s bowling statistics are the greatest in PSL history. In the first match of PSL 2015/16 season 1 against Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars, Ravi Bopara grabbed six wickets for 16 runs in four overs.

 

  1. Faheem Ashraf – 6/19

Another occasion where a batsman overshadowed a superb bowling performance. Faheem Ashraf has the second-best bowling stats in the PSL. On March 9, 2019, Faheem Ashraf took six wickets for 19 runs against Quetta Gladiators. Fakhar Zaman, Anton Devcich, Haris Sohail, David Weise, Agha Salman, and Shaheen Shah Afridi were all dismissed by Faheem Ashraf.

 

  1. Umar Gul – 6/24

Umar Gul is the third bowler to take six wickets in a PSL match. Umar Gul grabbed six wickets against Quetta Gladiators for Multan Sultans. Gul grabbed six wickets in the 17th encounter of the 2018 PSL in Dubai on March 7, however, Multan Sultan lost the match by two wickets. Asad Shafiq, Shane Watson, Rilee Rossouw, Anwar Ali, and Mohammad Nawaz were dismissed by Umar Gul.

 

  1. Shaheen Shah Afridi – 5/14

One of the best cricket players, Shaheen Afridi, can accomplish this with just five runs surrendered in 3.4 overs with four wickets remaining. Due to his outstanding performance during the 2018 season, Qalandars defeated Multan Sultans, and he was awarded man of the match for his efforts.

 

  1. Shahid Khan Afridi – 5/7

Shahid Afridi was awarded player of the match in the 2016 PSL season for his match-winning effort of taking 5 wickets on just 7 runs in four overs. This is still one of the finest performances, and Afridi’s performance will always be remembered. As a consequence, Peshawar Zalmi comfortably won the match.
