Asif Afridi to Replace Shahid Afridi in PSL 6 Remaining Matches
Popular cricket star Shahid Khan Afridi in T20 format. Despite being 41, he is still in high demand in franchise-based leagues. Starting from his country’s PSL, Afridi, who has played in T20 leagues of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and West Indies, dropped out of the upcoming PSL 2021. Meanwhile, Asif Afridi to replace Shahid Khan Afridi in the remaining PSL 6 matches. Multan Sultans has added 34-year-old Asif Afridi to the squad.
Boom Boom Afridi was supposed to play for Multan Sultan this time. He was also preparing himself to play in the PSL. However, he is not playing in PSL as he felt pain in his lower back during practice.
The organizers have confirmed that Afridi will not play in the PSL. Doctors have already instructed him to rest completely.
“I am very disappointed that I will have to sit for the rest of the tournament,” said Afridi, the Sultan of Multan. But good luck for the team. I hope Multan wins the title.
