Anwar Ali Tests Covid Positive and Ruled Out of PSL 6

Quetta Gladiators pacer Anwar Ali will miss the rest of the PSL 2021 (Pakistan Super League) in Abu Dhabi. Anwar Ali tests Covid positive and is ruled out of PSL 6 after Anwar Ali arrived at the team hotel in Karachi.

Earlier, his team’s pacer Naseem Shah dropped from PSL 6  for violating Corona protocol. All in all, Quetta Gladiators’ two pacers dropped out of the PSL. Neither of the two could board a flight to Dubai.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) plans to fly cricketers to Abu Dhabi on two chartered flights from Lahore and Karachi on Wednesday (May 26th). Earlier, Anwar Ali was tested at the Team Hotel in Karachi. The report of the Covid test came positive on Tuesday. He was immediately kept in isolation on a different floor from the hotel where the cricketers were staying. He must be in isolation for at least 10 days.
